“Here are the first babies born at the CNRS on 10 May, 2013, after approximately 18 days of gestation.
On the average, each female hamster has a litter of six. But some of them can have up to ten per litter, and up to three litters per year!
When they are seven days old, on the average they weight 17g and they grow quickly, gaining 5g per day the first month*”.
